The original Civic was introduced in 1973 and over the years gained a good reputation. A decade later the CRX was announced; strictly a two-seater with plenty of room. The 1.5-litre engine was packed neatly under the bonnet. The 1985 Si introduced Honda's new Programmed Fuel Injection system.
